OneWorld Reggae, originally formed in Santa Barbara, California, brings together elements of reggae, dub, pop and rock, landing them over 1 billion streams, and achieving multiple #1 albums on Billboard Reggae Albums chart. The 5-Hawaiian members perform their RIAA Certified Gold anthems “Time Bomb” and “Falling” which have connected with fans all over the world, and their brand-new music, carrying through the message of positive vibes that the fans have grown to love, seen on the all-new album “Daytrippin” (2023). 

Tribal Seeds

Roots Reggae with a Spiritual Twist Tribal Seeds is a reggae band from San Diego, California. The band was founded in 2005 by the sibling duo of Steven Rene and Tony-Ray Jacobo. Tribal Seeds has since become a pioneering force in the roots reggae genre. They often play songs such as “Rude Girl” and “Representing” at their shows. Their newest album “Ancient Blood” continues in their standard of great music that Tribal Seeds is known for, with special guests including such notable artists as Kabaka Pyramid and Romain Virgo. Tribal Seeds was nominated for San Diego Music Award for Artist of the Year in 2017. Tribal Seeds has held spots on the Billboard Reggae Charts. The brotherly love and foundation of Tribal Seeds brings a unique element to their LIVE shows. 

SOJA

East Coast reggae band SOJA (Soldiers of Jah Army) is a Grammy winning band. Formed in 1997, the band was awarded the Grammy for Best Reggae Album in 2022 for their 2021 studio album Beauty in the Silence. Their upbeat songs Not Done Yet and True Love have become anthems for fans of the roots reggae genre, a style of music that the band heavily draws from. SOJA has had numerous albums sit at #1 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart and has shared the stage with other popular reggae bands like UB40 and Rebelution. The name SOJA is an acronym for Soldiers of Jah Army, referencing the band’s reggae roots and the message of unity and love that they carry through their music. 

Artikal Sound System

This reggae rock, alt-rock, R&B band is based out of South Florida and was founded by Chris Montague and Fabian Acuña in 2012. The band switched things up a bit when they added new lead singer Logan Rex in 2018 to the lineup by bringing in a more pop and R&B sound to the music. The band is known for popular hits such as “You’re An Ahole”, “When I Wanna”, and “Stayed”, among other songs and we completely agree with the fact that they have mastered the art of combining genres and coming out with a catchy tune. The band’s most recent album “Are You Smiling Yet?” was released in 2025 and includes all original lyrics and song structure.

Roots & Grooves Music & Art Festival will take place at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater, 1801 NE 6th St, Pompano Beach, FL 33060.
